2022 Registration For Adult Matric Is Now Open

The 2022 registration for Adult Matric opened on the 1st of October 2021 and will close on the 31st of January 2022.

You can register at any provincial education office. This includes a circuit office, the district office, or the provincial head office. You can also register online.

We offer an Adult Matric course that you can apply for at any time of the year.

 

Who Qualifies To Write The Exams?

  • Adult learners who are 21 and older: That has an incomplete National Senior CertificateThe National Senior Certificate is the traditional school matric certificate. An incomplete certificate is when the student has not written the exam for a subject/s.
  • Learners who are 21 and older: That have an incomplete Amended Senior CertificateThe Amended Senior Certificate is the certificate you get when you complete your matric as an Adult. An incomplete certificate is when the student has not written the exam for a subject/s.
  • Adult candidates who are 21 and older: With an incomplete certificate that wants to change from a National Senior Certificate to an Amended Senior certificate.
    • These candidates may not go back to a National Senior Certificate once they choose to change their certificate.
  • If you are between the ages of 18-21 you can apply but only under unforeseen circumstances: Only certain circumstances will be allowed. This includes death, illness, financial issues etc.
    • This will be verified by the Head of Department in the Provincial Education Department.
